I went along to see Kate Miller-Heidke perform at The Governor Hindmarsh in Adelaide shooting for The Dwarf. I hadn't really heard much of her music before, but knew that she was quite a visually interesting person, and that is why I chose to shoot this gig.
I never like gigs where there is no barrier, because I really don't want to stand at the front of the stage for hours just to get a spot to shoot from, and I'm not really one to push through people who have been waiting. That said, I managed to get a decent vantage point, and thanks to some amazing lighting and a very photogenic performer, I came away with some great shots.
