A few weeks ago I emailed off one of my Kate Miller-Heidke photos (the one you see to the left of screen) to that little magazine called M.A.G. that you pick up for free outside J.B. HiFi on your way out.
Yesterday we were in the city, popped in to J.B. (bought the Tinted Windows album incase anyone is at all curious) and on the way out noticed the new edition of M.A.G. was out, picked it up and flicked through to find one of my pics printed on its fair pages. Keep in mind it was printed in the section for people who submit their photos from gigs, and I didn't even win the prize for the month (even though I obviously think I should have!) but there you have it - one of my pics, in print, off the computer screen and into the "real" world. It made a happy day even better.
